Monkeys and Mangoes

It’s mango season here on the Central Pacific coast, and for the monkeys that means one thing – Time to feast!

We are lucky to see a troop or two of Capuchin Monkeys bounding through the trees outside our office almost every day in search and conquest of the delicious fruits.  To see the more sparsely populated Titi Monkeys is a bit more rare; but where there is food, we’re hopeful the titis shall travel.

Kamuk is a beautiful hotel in downtown Quepos, right along the waterway, with fabulous accommodations, dining, and a casino to boot.

Cleaning Our Beautiful Beaches

Yesterday, Titi Conservation Alliance participated in a Beach Clean-Up along Playa Espadilla.

Organized by Amigos de Manuel Antonio, the clean-up day came at a crucial time for trash pick-up….The day after one of the busiest weeks for Manuel Antonio beach visitation – Semana Santa or “Holy Week”.
